Below is the Request for Bids for the 2015 Meter Replacement Materials. Please note that Bids are due 10:00 AM March 12, 2015 at the District’s Business Office located at 25902 Vernon Avenue Ocean Park, WA 98640.  If you have questions on the Bid please contact the General Manager at bneal@northbeachwater.com or 360.665.4144 by 4:00 PM March 09, 2015 so that responses to question can be in writing and forwarded to all Bidders prior to the due date.

North Beach Water District has finished the 2014 comprehensive rate study and a new rate structure to include service fees have been adopted by the Board of Commissioners. The new rates are available on the District’s rate page which can be visited by clicking the link below.

We urge all customers of the North Beach Water District to attend the monthly board meetings. We like to remind everyone that this is your system, we just run it. The Commissioners meet one a month to review District business and plan for the future. The public is always welcome at these meetings and your input is desired. 2014 Board Meeting Calendar

North Beach Water will is almost done with the uni-directional flushing program for this year. While we don’t anticipate any interruption of your service, there is still a chance you may experience slight discoloration. Be assured that the water is still safe, but please call the office and we will help you correct the discoloration.

Glenn Ripley is the new North Beach Water District Commissioner #3. While we will miss the many contributions of Commissioner RD Williams, we are looking forward to working with Glenn as the District moves forward. Welcome to the North Beach Water Team!

Winter is here and that means colder weather and frozen pipes. North Beach Water District is strongly encouraging its customers to take the necessary precautions to avoid costly damages associated with failure to winterize. 

Please consider implementing the following winterizing steps: 

• Turn off outside faucets and disconnect hoses.
• Insulate outside faucets with Styrofoam covers or other insulating material.
• Insulate exposed pipes in unheated areas such as crawl spaces and under kitchen and bathroom cabinets.
• locate your main water control valve or have one installed in case you need to shut off the water supply.

Seasonal and part time residents should also:

• Shut off the main water supply.
• turn off the electricity to and drain the water heater.
• Drain and blow out the water supply lines.
• Winterize toilets and drain traps by filling them with biodegradable antifreeze.
