Now Hiring: Water Service Worker I, II or III
North Beach Water District is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Water Service Worker I, II, or III. This position offers an opportunity to work in a variety of water system operations, maintenance, repair, and installation activities while serving the local community.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations within the past three years.
- Have, or be able to obtain within three months of employment, a valid Washington State Traffic Control Flagger Card and CPR/First Aid certification.
- Demonstrate knowledge of, or the ability to learn, the principles, methods, tools, and equipment used in the operation and maintenance of water distribution systems.
Knowledge and Skills
The ideal candidate will have knowledge or experience in the following areas:
- Pipe laying, fitting, plumbing, and concrete work.
- Proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Safe work practices and procedures.
Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, operating tools and equipment, performing physical labor, and working collaboratively as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: Salary will be determined based on the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and level of placement (I, II, or III).
