North Beach Water District Waterline Replacement Project

North Beach Water District wants to inform you that a waterline replacement project will  begin on Tuesday, August 12^th, and is scheduled to continue through Friday, September 5^th.  The project will begin at the intersection of Park Avenue and 274^th Place, heading south on Park Avenue and concluding at 269^th Place.

During this period, you can expect:

• Intermittent water service interruptions
• Traffic detours and road closures
• Increased construction activity in the area

We understand that these disruptions may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve the reliability and safety of our water system.

We also ask that you please be mindful of our crew members working in the area.  They are dedicated professionals – and like you, they have families counting on them to return home safely.

Customers no longer need to boil water used for drinking, cooking and making ice. Water quality testing has confirmed that tap water meets all regulatory standards and is safe for human consumption.

The boil water notice was only in effect for customers from 250th Street south on U Street and Sandridge Road.   All other customers were not affected

North Beach Water Semi-Annual System Flushing Schedule

North Beach Water District will be conducting its semi-annual flushing program over several weeks starting May 5th, 2025. Water main flushing is an important preventative maintenance procedure to remove sediment buildup and stagnate water in the lines. We will be using hydrant flushing roadside signs to inform you of when we will be flushing in your neighborhood. Flushing may result in temporary lowered pressure and slight discoloration of the water. Even if we are not flushing near your neighborhood, you may experience lower pressure due to the increased velocities required to scour and lift sediments within the main. If you find you have discolored water, run the cold water for a few minutes to clear the lines. If the cloudy water persists, please contact the office for assistance.

We will be flushing Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00AM to 4:00PM. We expect the flushing program to last through May 30th, 2025.

North Beach Water District has lifted the boil water notice for customers from 250th Street going south on U Street and Sandridge Road.  Customers no longer need to boil water used for drinking, cooking and making ice. Water quality testing has confirmed that tap water meets all regulatory standards and is safe for human consumption.

Please look at the attached photo of the affected area. It extends roughly from 250th Street going south on U Street and Sandridge Road.

This area will have a boil water notice for 24-48 hours while we wait for the water samples to be tested. Once we get the go-ahead, we will send out a reverse emergency notification to lift the boil water notice.
